Your DNA Unlocked processes sensitive genetic and account information to provide genomic analysis reports. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users.
Information We Collect
- Account details (email, optional name, authentication data)
- Uploaded genome files (e.g., raw DNA exports from major providers)
- Generated reports and derived analysis data
- Billing and subscription identifiers from Stripe (no raw card data stored)
- Operational logs and security events
How We Use Information
- Generate and deliver your reports and protocol outputs
- Provide account access, support, and billing management
- Detect abuse, secure the platform, and troubleshoot issues
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We store Stripe customer/subscription identifiers needed to manage access and subscriptions. We do not store full payment card numbers.
Data Retention and Deletion
Users can permanently delete genome and report data from account settings. Deletion removes uploaded genome files and generated report data from the application database and storage.
Data Sharing
We do not sell genetic data. We only share data with service providers necessary to operate the platform (for example, hosting, payments, and email delivery), under appropriate safeguards.
Security
We apply technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
- Access, update, or delete your account information
- Delete your genome/report data permanently from settings
- Cancel subscription billing via the billing portal
